Typical HRS Kindergarten Day

·         7:45-8:15 - Kindergarten Sign-In & Morning Writing

·         8:15-8:45 - Prayer, Songs, Morning Meeting, Show & Tell

·         8:45-9:45 - Read Aloud, Phonics Skills, Reading Centers or Writing Projects

·         9:45-10:00 - Snack

·         10:00-10:15 - Recess

·         10:15-10:50 - Math & Math Centers

·         10:50-11:15 - Religion

·         11:15-11:50 - Lunch

·         11:50-12:10 - Recess

·         12:10-12:50 - Rest Time

·         12:50-1:20 - Rotation: Gym, Art, Music, Computers, Cooperative Group Activities, Social Studies, Science

·         1:20-1:35 - Recess

·         1:35-2:10 - Free Play

·         2:10 - Clean, pass out papers, pack backpacks

·         2:25 - Class Journal

·         2:35 - Prayer & Dismissal

*Students also have Library once a week, attend Mass on Fridays and participate in field trips & all-school events.
