7 & 8 News
The HRS 7 & 8 grade multiage classroom is a place where
students gain academic prowess, build their confidence and leadership skills, and
develop strong study habits to lead them through high school. Individual
students are encouraged to excel in all that they learn and
receive both group instruction, individual assistance, and small
group learning. Students display their knowledge through both
hands on projects and technical presentations.
Every day, students pray together learning more about their faith
through daily Catholic instruction, Sacraments, Bible lessons,
Mass participation, and weekly Mass. We focus on developing a
closer relationship with Christ that will last for the rest of
their life. Our staff is
devoted to helping your child succeed, not only in school, but
in life.
Unique Attributes and Focus:

Academics: Strong emphasis on increasing student
results in reading, writing and mathematics with accelerated
learning available in subject areas. Students have science,
social studies and faith instruction daily.

Art, physical education, technology, band, choir, and library

Prayer, Sacraments, Mass, and Bible stories

Leadership: Flag and barricade patrol; Mass participation; Mass Servers;
NET retreat, and Big Buddies.

Service: Projects throughout the school year, 7 &
8
adopt Traditions for monthly Mass and various projects during the school
year. They also serve at the Food Shelf weekly.
Classes
limited and registration begins in February, annually. Register
