Language Arts
Through the study of Language Arts students are provided a variety of opportunities to develop reading, writing, speaking and listening skills as essential tools for enjoying, understanding and responding to the environment.
Language Arts is the foundation of all other curricula. Through
direct instruction, students will develop skills to:
- Successfully participate in everyday situations
- Become confident and effective communicators through the written and spoken word
- Read a variety of types of printed materials
- Gain critical and analytical listeners
